Look at the results coming out of our schools. Kansas students are graduating without knowing how to read, how to write, or how to do basic math. The current educational system is fundamentally broken, failing our children, frustrating our teachers, and shortchanging the taxpayers.
Instead of fixing the academic decline, the establishment is pushing parents out of the classroom. In this primary, I am up against an ex-superintendent and a sitting school board member. They claim to have the "knowledge" to run the system, but they are the very insiders who broke it. For years, under their watch, our children haven't been learning. They want to maintain the status quo of government interference and "woke" agendas.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Imagine an educational system where parents are completely empowered to direct their children’s education without government overreach. Imagine classrooms focused on rigorous accreditation standards in reading, writing, arithmetic, and true American civics. Every child learns differently, and by exploring real alternatives to the failing "one-size-fits-all" approach, we can provide an individualized academia that actually works.

I have spent 13 years teaching the U.S. Constitution to elementary students across Kansas through the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). I have hands-on experience as a substitute teacher, a teacher's aide, and a successful corporate project manager. I know how to execute a plan, and I know what our children need to succeed.
